Conference for Talent Management, Learning and Knowledge Technologies
The international TT Knowledge Transfer Forum will take place on 24 May 2012 in Heidelberg/Germany.
As in previous years, we have put together a fascinating program for the day. It will start with a lecture by Prof. Wim Veen, Professor of Learning Systems at Delft University, entitled, “How knowledge creation will be changed by future employees”.
Robert Bosch, Julius Bär, Credit Suisse, F. Hoffmann-La Roche and the LGT Group – that’s just a selection of the companies whose speakers will follow later on in the day. In two parallel seminar tracks, speakers will provide the management perspective on how their companies are confronting current challenges for employee qualification, and will reveal the actions they are planning in order to build the knowledge capital and power of innovation within the workforce.

Prof. Wim Veen
Professor Learning Systems Delft University of Technology
"Homo Zappiens, how knowledge creation will be changed by future employees"
Wim Veen is professor at Delft University of Technology and an advisor for corporate organizations and governmental authorities, where he is focussing on knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and knowledge retention. His field is Education and Technology.
His current research activities focus on the development of new learning concepts for formal and informal learning. Corporate learning is a major focus and together with a team of researchers he contributes to the development of new e-services for learning in organizations where new learning needs are emerging.
He takes a particular interest in the generations growing up with technology, their cyber culture, and the parallel development of new software, giving insights into future learning cultures which will fundamentally change traditional teaching and the roles of all stakeholders in the education field.
